My Favourite Animal Competition
Here's a great little activity for this February Half Term
Milly is one of our Gold Arts Award students and she has devised a little competition for all our Sherwood Young Artists this half term.
She would like you to create a piece of artwork of your favourite animal (real or made up). All the entries will then be compiled into a lovely little book of illustrated animals and will be available to buy (raising money for charity).
All the instructions are in the video. Simply click on the image or the URL link. I will be handing out the template sheets in class today and tomorrow (9th/10th Feb). Please don't worry of you missed it as I've also given you a link to download and print off the template at home.
As always, there will be a winner, who will be chosen by Milly. Yet another Jellycat Bashful Dino has been ordered (to add the Vincent's growing family). This one will be called Peter after the talented artist Peter Thorpe.

Competition Update!!!
Over 70 of our young artists took part in the competition and each and every entry was amazing! Congratulation to all!
A winner has been chosen who will receive Peter the Dino and 4 runners up have been chosen too, who will all receive an Art Supplies voucher from Sherwood Stationers.

My Favourite Animal Competition - Book
Milly is compiling a little book of all the fabulous entries that will be able to buy for £4. All profits from the book sale will be donated to the Four Paws UK Charity.
The book will be sent off to print on the 13th March 2024. If you would like a copy/copies please click the 'buy tickets' button below to pre-order a copy. This will be very important to us, so we know how many to books order.
